Is YI Home Camera still able to record without network connection? Yes. After setting up your camera successfully, as long as the camera is not powered off and with a micro SD card inserted, it can record videos even if there is no network connection.

Can Alexa connect to Yi camera?
Once the device is discovered you can use the command, “Alexa, show (camera name)”. A Kami camera can only be discovered with the Kami Home skill. A YI camera can only be discovered with the YI Home skill. To hide the camera say, “Alexa, hide (camera name)”.

How do I watch my Yi camera on my TV?
To view photos on TV, you need a HDMI cable (sold separately) and a TV with HDMI port.
- Turn off the camera and TV.
- Connect the camera to the TV using the HDMI cable.
- Turn on the TV and switch to the right HDMI input mode.
- Turn on the camera.
- Photos/videos will now be displayed on the TV.
