5.0 out of 5 stars Punches way above its size and price. Great sound, both clean and overdrive. It’s not super versatile, however it isn’t meant to be. Each Joyo BantamP does its specific sound well, and if you want a different sound, get one of the other Joyo amps.

The Joyo Ultimate Drive has some nice tweak-ability in the wide range of the gain control which goes from mild overdrive all the way through to heavy distortion. It also has an HP/LP toggle switch (similar to the Fulltone OCD) which selects the frequency of the overdrive. HP is more middy whereas LP has more bottom.

The Joyo is built good. Good for the money. But for $15 more the tone of the Boss is noticeably better. More presence in tone and more sweep in the use of the knobs.
